Advertising policy

Launch draft · 23 September 2026. Publisher identity, postal address, support/privacy contact and hosting/retention details must be completed and verified before commercial release. This preview is not a completed production notice.

SMASHBIKES may be supported by approved static sponsorships and, in future releases, Google or other reviewed advertising services. No network ads or advertising SDK are active in the current build. There are no in-game purchases.

Advertising services and formats

Planned services include Google AdSense or an appropriate Google publisher product for the website, and Google AdMob for native mobile apps. Availability depends on provider approval, product eligibility and store rules. Google Ads is primarily the advertiser buying product; it is not the publisher integration used to earn revenue in this game.

Potential formats include clearly labeled banners and ads between rounds. Network ad code must use approved placements and must not be copied into a map texture or modified to bypass a provider’s format restrictions. Static sponsor images can appear on map billboards. No paid items or purchases are offered by SMASHBIKES.

Family-friendly restrictions

We plan contextual/non-personalized advertising only, with child-appropriate treatment for children and users whose age is unknown. Personalized advertising and remarketing are not planned for this family build. We will not provide rider names, room codes, reconnection tokens or chat content to advertisers. There is no chat feature.

Ads must meet the youngest intended audience’s content requirements. We exclude adult/sexual content, hate, graphic violence, gambling, alcohol, tobacco/vapes, drugs, weapons, dating, misleading financial or health claims and other unsuitable categories. No fake game controls, accidental-click layouts, pressure to buy, or instructions asking children to persuade adults to buy. Ads must not cover steering controls or unexpectedly interrupt a race. A paid game advantage is not offered.

Static sponsor creatives require manual approval. Network ads require the provider’s applicable child-safety controls, category restrictions and review/reporting procedures; we do not claim that we manually approve every network creative. Apple Kids-category distribution may restrict or prevent a proposed network-ad setup even if it is accepted elsewhere.

Information used by advertising services

If enabled in a later release, an advertising service may receive connection and device information, page/app information, general location inferred from IP, consent signals and ad delivery/interaction information. Cookies, local storage or device identifiers may be involved where permitted by the audience configuration and law. Non-personalized advertising is not necessarily data-free or cookie-free.

Actual providers, data categories, storage lifetimes, processing roles and international-transfer arrangements must be identified before activation in the privacy policy and cookies policy. No unnamed ad network is authorized to collect data merely because this policy mentions similar services.

Consent and choices

Before any feature requiring consent or parental permission begins processing, the appropriate controls must be implemented. Required advertising choices must be accessible again from the game’s privacy menu. Declining optional processing must not activate it. Where lawful child-appropriate ads cannot be delivered, network ads will remain off; a static sponsor image or no ad can be shown instead. No advertising consent interface or parental-consent workflow exists in the current build.

Google’s relevant information is available at How Google uses information from partner sites and apps and Google Privacy Policy. These links are information, not consent or proof of an active integration.

Reporting and changes

Contact [SUPPORT EMAIL] to report an inappropriate ad, identifying the sponsor, placement and approximate time. A parent may report for a child. A monitored reporting channel and a way to disable problematic campaigns or networks are required before ads launch. Sponsor and ad-provider websites have their own practices; any links out of a children's app must follow the store’s parental-gate requirements. Changes to providers or formats require a new privacy and child-safety review before activation.
